Why did we create AdaptQ?

Based on our research and ongoing work with academic directors, HR, L&D and skills development professionals, we recognized a clear gap: there is no single, coherent model that captures what it truly means to be adaptively intelligent in today’s dynamic workplace. Rather than creating yet another new framework, we found greater value in synthesizing what already exists—bringing together well-researched and widely accepted quotients like IQ, EQ, CQ, LQ and RQ into one unified model we call adaptive quotient (AdaptQ©). This integrated approach not only honors the depth of each quotient but also makes it easier to measure and develop the core human skills needed to thrive in the future of work.  

What makes up AdaptQ?

Adaptive quotient (AdaptQ©) is used to measure adaptive intelligence—a critical meta-skill for the future of work conceptualized by the Research, Stories and Insights team at Play2Tranform Group. It presents a synthesized model based on research across psychology, future-of-work and leadership literature, scientific studies and organizational frameworks from World Economic Forum (WEF) Jobs Report 2025, Harvard Business Review, McKinsey, Deloitte, Thomas Friedman, Daniel Goleman, among others (sources provided at the end).
